Holy Week craft

Edited to show the finished product, as completed by my 7-yr-old. Not bad!

Trying something different for Sunday school tomorrow: I found a Polish craft online somewhere with the rooster which called Peter out, and I figured you could do the same thing for a number of other Holy Week events. The basic idea is you cut out a symmetrical scene from white paper and mount it on a dark background. I found some purple and indigo cardstock at Michael's yesterday, which I plan on using along with deep purple yarn. These images are on copy paper- two per page. Now I'd like to print out the applicable gospel verses to paste to the reverse of each sheet. We're trying it with K-5. My hope is that they'll be able to finish it up next week- otherwise they might have to take the pieces home.
