Daniel's Favorite
Daniel loooooves Bo'. We were wandering through Dollar General, spending some of the money Jonah's grandma gave the boys. John and Isaac had no shortage of items on their wish lists, but Daniel was a bit more inscrutable (given that the answer to every question is "no"...) Finally, something in the workbook/ giftwrap aisle caught his eye. "BO'! BO'!!". Daniel had spotted a VeggieTales workbook. I found a different, slightly pricier one ($2 vs $1) that included a poster & a growth chart, so that's the one we bought. Several times a day, Daniel will stop on his way through the living room to point out his favorite tomato. I didn't manage to capture the full measure of his enthusiasm, but this'll give you some idea!

My M-i-L sent a link to this fascinating video on YouTube about a mega-dairy farm. Two of the most recent comments were:

Humans are not meant to drink COW'S milk. We are meant to drink HUMAN milk when we are babies and then stop as we become adults like other mammals do. Common sense will tell you that. This is a money making business, so naturally the business is going to make it seem as if drinking milk is good.

Aunt Jan, Comedienne


Unfortunately, this is my sleek camera's swan song. I took the camera out of my purse tonight only to discover that the display, aka the viewfinder, is gone. Toast.

I ordered a cheaper camera to replace it. Free shipping, very good reviews. Let's hope this one lasts a bit longer. It's a lot clunkier, so I probably won't be tempted to carry it around in my purse.

I was going to spare you, but I had to laugh at Jay when I watched this again. Really, the beginning is the best part, but you're free to watch the whole thing.



I'm not sure why Google Videos Beta is much more functional than Blogger videos (not beta, as far as I can tell), but I suppose that's looking a gift horse in the mouth.
